We hope that you will consider becoming a member of the Louisiana to Los Angeles Organizing Committee, Inc. (LALA), a 501C3 nonprofit organization, and look forward to receiving your application. The annual (January 1st – December 31st) membership dues are fifty dollars ($50.00). You will be updated regarding the status of your application within three weeks of receipt.
The primary purpose of LALA is to raise scholarship funds for community youth and to keep the rich Louisiana culture and Mardi Gras alive. To be considered for membership you must adhere to the following:
- Be committed to our cause and purpose.
- Attend monthly meetings (A minimum of 4 is required).
- Pay annual dues.
- Participate in fundraising activities and commit to at least one committee.

Payment is due within 30 days of application approval. All new members will be notified of required orientation meeting. During the orientation meeting the history of LALA will be discussed and information distributed.
